Instructions:

A simple but delicious cake recipe:

Mix vanilla sugar, fat, sugar and eggs with a mixer until creamy, fold in milk, flour and baking powder briefly. Dough into a greased cake springform pan (o 26 cm) form, smooth, bake.

170 to 190 °C , 1st sliding rack v. U.

160 to 180 °C , convection oven

Remove the base from the pan, cool on a cooling rack. Whip the cream until stiff. Mix curd, sauce powder and sugar (except 2 tbsp.) with a mixer for 2 min.

Fold in whipped cream. Place the base on a cake plate. Place springform pan rim (must be covered with parchment paper) or springform pan rim around the base, pour in the curd mixture and smooth down.

Leave to cool for about 2 hours.

In the meantime, drain pineapple and peaches in a sieve, reserving juice. Cut peaches into wedges, halve strawberries, slice peeled kiwis and banana, sprinkle banana with juice of one lemon, slice carambola as well. Fill up the fruit juice with water to a quarter of a liter, add the icing powder and the remaining sugar and stir until the mixture boils briefly. Form a narrow layer of icing on the curd mixture, top with the fruit. Spread remaining icing evenly over fruit.
