For the nut bread, first mix the sourdough (preferably fresh, home-made) with the other ingredients and the water and knead for a good 10 minutes.

Then let the dough rest for an hour. After an hour, knead the dough again on a well-floured surface and shape it into one or two loaves, depending on your taste.

Place the loaves on a floured baking sheet and let them rest again in a warm place for about 1 hour. Now brush the loaves with water. Then bake in an oven preheated to 210 °C for 10 minutes.

After 10 minutes, reduce the temperature to 180 °C and bake for another 45 minutes. After another 45 minutes, remove the bread and enjoy.

Preparation Tip:

With liquid or dry sourdough, it might be necessary to add an additional package of yeast to achieve the necessary leavening power.
