Preheat electric stove to 180 °C , convection oven to 160 °C , gas stove to level 4.

To make the base: beat the eggs, sift the powdered sugar over them. Add vanilla, lemon zest and salt. Whisk everything in a bain-marie until a creamy custard is formed.

Allow butter to melt, but do not let it get hot. Fold in. Stir the mixture until it has cooled down.

Sift flour over it. Mix to form a dough. Pour into a well-buttered cake springform pan (26 cm). Bake for 50 min, turn out onto a wire rack, cool. Remove the parchment paper. Cut the base in half horizontally. Drizzle both halves with alcohol.
