Instructions:

Cook the macaroni for about 12 minutes. Drain thoroughly. Chop onions and garlic cloves. Drain the tomatoes in a sieve.

Heat oil in a frying pan and sauté onions and garlic. Add minced meat and fry until crumbly. Fold in the paradeis pulp, oregano, tomatoes and cinnamon. Add salt and freshly ground pepper to taste. Sauté the mince for another 8-10 minutes, then remove the frying pan from the stove. Whisk an egg and stir into the mince together with the breadcrumbs. Finely grate the cheese.

For the sauce, heat 3/8 liter of milk and the fat in a saucepan.

Beat remaining eggs in a second saucepan until creamy. Add remaining milk and flour and whisk until smooth. Gradually add the hot milk and stir until the mixture comes to a boil. Season with salt.

Grease an ovenproof dish, layer the macaroni. Sprinkle 2/3 of the cheese on top. Spread the minced meat mixture on top and pour the sauce over it. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Bake in the preheated oven at 175 °C for about 45 minutes until golden brown.
