Instructions:

For the cheese slices, peel and dice the onions and sauté in the butter until translucent. Add the groats and the soup.

Bring to the boil briefly and leave to swell for 15 minutes with the lid on. Season with pressed garlic and pepper.

Mix eggs with 100 ml of whipped cream, stir in and season with salt. Spread the mixture on a greased juice pan.

Sprinkle with thyme and grated cheese and drizzle the remaining whipped cream over the top.

Bake the cheese slices at 200 degrees (gas 3) on the bottom of the oven for 25-30 minutes.
