Roll out the puff pastry thinly and cut out four circles with a diameter of about 10 cm. Place the pastry sheets on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, prick with a fork and brush with apple jelly.

Remove the skin from the apples, cut them in half, core them and cut them into very thin slices. Later, spread them evenly on the pastry sheets in a ring shape. Dust with cinnamon, bake in the oven at 175 degrees for about 20 minutes.

Just before serving, add butter flakes and brown sugar on top form and caramelize under broiler. (Flambé with the heated Calvados at the table.) Serve with vanilla ice cream.
