Instructions:

Beat the egg whites. Beat yolks with powdered sugar and vanilla sugar until foamy. Add gingerbread spice, cinnamon and oil and mix again briefly.

Pour mineral water into the mixture, mix lightly – add flour and fold in the beaten egg white. Bake in the oven at approx. 170 °C.

In the meantime, cut the apples into wedges, take the cake out of the oven again and cover with the apple pieces – finish baking.

Allow to cool slightly and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
