Knead dough ingredients into a smooth shortcrust pastry and rest in the refrigerator for about 2 hours. Roll out and line the bottom and sides of a greased cake springform pan. The edge should be 2cm high.
Pre-bake in a heated oven at 220 °C for about 15 minutes.
Cut bacon into thin slices and roast until golden brown. Whisk egg yolks, eggs, whipping cream, cheese and spices together. Place bacon slices on pre-baked pie, pour egg-cheese mixture on top. Place butter flakes on top and bake at 180 degrees for another half hour.
Our tip: Use a bacon with a strong flavor – so you give this dish a special touch!
