Instructions:

For the pizza salami, mix water, salt and dry yeast together in a bowl. Put the flour in another bowl and make a well, add the yeast mixture with the oil. Knead everything well.

Dust the work surface with a little flour and knead the dough again for about 5 minutes. Coat a bowl with a little oil, put the dough in and cover with a damp tea towel. Now let the pizza dough rise for about 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.

When the dough has doubled in size, shape it into a large round pizza crust. Prick the dough several times with a fork. Brush the base with tomato paste, spread the drained diced tomatoes on top.

Then sprinkle onion, garlic and dried basil on top. Then top with salami. Sprinkle the grated cheese on top and season with salt and pepper if necessary.

Line a baking tray with baking paper, place the pizza salami on it and bake at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes.

Preparation Tip:

The pizza salami still sprinkle with fresh basil leaves or even arugula. This gives it something fresh.
