Pick apart iceberg lettuce, rinse. Toss leaves dry. Cut into tender strips, place in baking dish. Drain mandarin oranges. Add.

Remove peel from bananas and cut into 5 mm thick slices. They come ditto for it.

Rinse tomatoes with hot tap water, peel, halve and cut out the stalks. Cut tomatoes into eighths, stone and add to lettuce. Drain the pineapple slices. Cut into cubes of about 1 cm. Add with the peeled and chopped onion. Mix everything carefully. Mix sour mayo and whipped cream with ketchup and canned milk. Season with salt, sugar, juice of one lemon and pepper. Pour over the lettuce. Leave in the icebox for 10 minutes with the lid closed. Meanwhile, rinse cress or possibly chives with tap water. Dry with household paper and finely chop. Sprinkle over the finished leaf salad and place on the table on the spot.

Our tip: Fresh chives are much more aromatic than dried ones!
