Remove the peel from the carrots and cut them into fine slices. Remove the skin from the onions and cut them into small cubes. Press the garlic through a press. Melt the butter in a saucepan and sauté the onion cubes together with the garlic for a few minutes. Then add the carrot slices, pour the vegetable soup and lightly cook the vegetables in it until they are done. Then blend everything together in a hand blender. Repeatedly heat the soup briefly. Season to taste with the spices. Chop the green cabbage and sprinkle over the soup.
