Stir through powdered sugar and water. Add nuts, eggs, raisins, candied lemon peel, baking oil and brandy and stir in. Mix flour and baking powder and knead with the dough hook of the hand mixer until a smooth dough is formed. If the dough is too soft, knead in any flour left over.

Pour the dough into a greased loaf pan sprinkled with semolina. Bake in a heated oven at 180 °C (gas: level 2-3) for about 1 hour.
