Try this delicious cake recipe:

Knead a dough from the first five ingredients, roll into a ball and, wrapped tightly in foil, rest in the refrigerator for half an hour.

Peel the apples, cut them into quarters and remove the core.

Then roughly grate the quarters. If necessary, soak the raisins in warm water. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.

Roll out the rested dough very thinly on a floured towel.

Sprinkle the rolled out dough with the grated ribs, spread the apples, cinnamon, sugar, raisins, 6 tablespoons of melted butter and the almond kernels evenly on it. Roll the dough into an oblong strudel with the help of the towel, pressing the ends together and folding them up.

Place the strudel on the baking tray, brush with a little butter and bake for 25 minutes. Then brush repeatedly with 3 tbsp. melted butter and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cool a little and serve lukewarm.

It goes well with vanilla ice cream.
