For the purple Easter eggs, pour a bottle of red wine into a saucepan.
Wrap 1-2 rubber rings around the center of each egg and place the eggs in the cooking pot. Add a little vinegar to help the color hold.
Boil the eggs for about 20 minutes. Then let cool a bit and carefully remove the rubber ring from the purple Easter eggs.

Preparation Tip:
The color of the purple Easter eggs will be stronger, the stronger the color of the wine. Therefore, use an older wine with a dark color, such as a bottle of Teran from Slovenia.
