Instructions:

For the Carinthian Kasnocken, knead a smooth dough from the ingredients for the dough and let it rest in a cool place for about 1 hour.

Mix all ingredients for the filling well. Roll out the dough not too thin (!!!) and cut out circles with a diameter of about 6 cm.

Spread a tablespoon of filling on each, leaving the edges free and folding them together. When doing so, press them well together.

Crimp the edges with your thumb.

When all are ready, simmer the casnocks in plenty of salted water for about 8 minutes.

Brown the butter and pour a tablespoon of it over each of the cooked Carinthian Kasnocken and serve immediately.

Carinthian Kasnocken go well with a green salad.
